I am a proud mother of two boys, a wife to a dedicated farmer and rancher, and a passionate entrepreneur. As the owner of a thriving salon, I find joy in helping women feel confident and beautiful through dimensional hair color. Alongside my business, I embrace the love of family, animals, and the simple joys of life — especially with a good iced coffee in hand.
Growing up, I was surrounded by the values of hard work, creativity, and community. At an early age, I developed a love for beauty and fashion, always drawn to the way hair could change a person’s confidence and outlook. I am hooked on continuing education as it is the only way to always bring the best to the table for my guests.
My journey as an entrepreneur began when I realized I wanted more than just a job — I wanted a space dedicated for women to feel empowered through beauty. Owning a salon allows me to combine my love for creativity with the satisfaction of helping others feel their best, ensuring every guest leaves with a renewed sense of confidence.
My greatest accomplishments in life have been becoming a mother to my two incredible children and sharing my life with my husband. Our family’s connection to the land and animals has been an anchor in my life, teaching me the value of perseverance and dedication.
As I continue to grow both in my career, and personal life, my goals remain centered around my family, community, and creativity. I look forward to expanding my salon, exploring new trends and always striving to be the best mom, wife and businesswoman I can be.
Oliva DeLong - Stylist
As a stylist, creating a safe space for my guests is what truly sets me apart. It’s not just about providing a service; its about building trust, offering comfort, and nurturing emotional well-being. When guests feel safe, they can express their desires openly, allowing me to craft styles that reflect who they are and make them feel confident.
I strive to provide an inclusive, judgement-free environment where guests feel respected and understood. My empathy and authenticity help me connect deeply with guests, making each experience meaningful. I also stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques through continuous education to ensure I offer the best in the industry.
I love laughing with guests while making them feel beautiful, whether it’s with their dream lived in color or bright blonde. As a new mom and farmer’s wife, I cherish connecting with other moms and spending time with my family, bringing that same warmth and joy into every salon experience.
Ana Hernandez - Assistant/Stylist
My passion for the beauty industry began early on, but it wasn’t until 2021 that I began my journey in cosmetology. Prioritizing motherhood, I waited until my son, Jayden was older to pursue my dream. I attended Paul Mitchell in Overland Park part-time while juggling the demands of being a mom and commuting. I now value my journey to becoming a hairstylist even more!
What excites me most about being a cosmetologist is the versatility it offers. I thrive on variety and love providing a range of services. The dynamic nature of this profession keeps me engaged, and I especially enjoy lengthy hair services that allow for a deeper connection with my guests. Meeting people from all walks of life and hearing their stories enriches my work behind the chair.
Outside of the salon and motherhood, I’m fascinated by conspiracy theories, astrology, dark history, and ghost stories. Creativity is my passion, whether through drawing, painting, makeup, or hair. Although I’m an introvert who values peace and solitude, I enjoy spending weekends with my son, my boyfriend Jeff, and his daughters Leia and Amelia.
As a stylist, my goal is to create a calm, encouraging environment where every guest feels seen, heard, and beautiful as they leave my chair.
Hannah Pohlman - Assistant
From a young age, I have always been captivated by the world of hair and makeup. Growing up in a small town, I envisioned a career that allowed me to express my creativity and build meaningful connections with others.
This led me to pursue my dream at Bellus Academy. I specialize in working with blondes and lived-in color, helping my guests feel both beautiful and confident with every transformation.
When I am not behind the chair, you can find me journaling, spending time with friends and family, going to the gym, and learning to play the piano. I love country music, iced coffee is my go to, I have a twin sister and I am an avid dog lover.
I am so excited to embark on my future and am committed to growing in my career. I look forward to all the opportunities ahead in and out of the salon.
